21 On Rajah

The festive buffet at 21 on Rajah brings the world to you in a spread that draws from global traditions. In the American tradition, there is slow-cooked turkey with Christmas nut stuffing, while according to Aussie custom, there’ll be barbecued beef ribs with smoked paprika. The traditional Italian “feast of seven fishes” is played out in the spread of seafood, while France is represented with a slipper lobster thermidor. Expect many other delights, including Christmas stollen, cheese platters, shepherd’s pie and fruit cake.

Colony

Seven “live” stations are dishing out Christmas classics at this ever-popular buffet restaurant. In addition to evergreen dishes, there are roasted turkeys with chestnut stuffing, roasted beef tomahawk with Yorkshire puddings, and roasted gammon ham. That’s on top of the fresh seafood on The Ice Bar, including snow crabs, scallops and whelks; à la minute popiah and kueh pie tee; pizzas, pastas, and Asian fare; as well as cakes and ice creams galore at The Patisserie.

Edge

If pan-seared foie gras is not decadent enough on its own, then you’ll be glad to know that at this buffet restaurant at Pan Pacific Singapore, the foie gras comes with lobster tails too. That’s on top of offerings like slow-roasted Black Angus prime beef ribs, maple-glazed gammon ham with spiced apple marmalade, and baked salmon filet with creamy polenta and caviar beurre blanc.

The spread of fresh seafood includes oysters, king crab legs, Boston lobsters, tiger prawns, Pacific clams, scallops, and crawfish. Meanwhile, the hotel’s master butcher Haiko Mayer will present a spread of made-from-scratch charcuterie and cold cuts.

For dessert, expect English Christmas fruit cake, plum pudding, Christmas stollen, log cakes and much more. Available from 21 Nov. Prices start from $88 for weekday lunch ($44 for children) and $118 for dinner ($59 per child).
