To start, there is Prosperity yu sheng before you dig into a spread that comprises a platter of succulent barbecued meats, braised six head abalone with fish maw, black mushrooms and seasonal greens, steamed cod fillet with minced black garlic and black beans, and wok-fried glutinous rice with preserved meat and Chinese sausage. For dessert, there’s chilled diced pear with white fungus, wolfberries, apricot, almond kernels and dried longan, with “smiling” sesame balls.

If yours is a larger crowd, this Happiness Reunion bundle ($688) will feed up to 10 people. Once you’ve tossed your Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng, you can dive into wholesome braised pig trotters with abalone, steamed seabass with dried oyster mushroom sauce, smoked soy sauce chicken, and fragrant glutinous rice with abalone and Chinese sausage wrapped in lotus leaf. Be sure to save stomach space for the Harvest Japanese purple sweet potato nian gao at dessert.
