What is the Henley Passport Index?

ICYDK, the Henley Passport Index is the OG - the real deal - when it comes to ranking the world's passports. It includes 199 different passports and 227 different travel destinations. Their data (18 years' worth of it) is backed up by information from the International Air Transport Association, which claims to have the biggest and most accurate travel database.

The Henley Passport Index allocates points to every passport. For each destination, if a passport allows entry without a visa, or if a visa can be obtained on arrival, or through an electronic travel authority (ETA) without pre-departure approval, it scores 1. If a visa is required in advance, or if a government-approved e-Visa is needed before travel, it scores 0.

TL;DR, our Singapore passport scored the highest 🇸🇬
