Where To Shop, Eat And Play This Weekend (20-22 Mar)

The weekend’s here again, and while day trips to JB are no longer an option, there’s still plenty for us to do around Singapore. Here’s what you can look forward to this week. 1. Touch Me, Touch Me Not

This multidisciplinary arts exhibition features a thought-provoking exploration of hostile architecture and social inclusion in Singapore through a variety of artistic mediums such as interactive installations, soundscape design, spoken word theatre and wearable art.

2. Francophonie Festival 2020

Calling all Francophones and Francophiles, Francophonie Festival 2020 is here. Celebrate all things French with a plethora of activities such as French film screenings and cultural talks.

3. Healthy Chinatown

Take a trip to the past this weekend with Healthy Chinatown at Smith Street. Look forward to free traditional street games, trishaw tours, coffee workshops and even a Traditional Chinese Medicine talk that will help strengthen your immune system (particularly useful during this period).

Health Advisory

Travellers and members of the public should adopt the following precautions at all times:

- Avoid contact with live animals including poultry and birds, and consumption of raw and undercooked meats;
- Avoid crowded places and close contact with people who are unwell or showing symptoms of illness;
- Observe good personal hygiene;
- Practise frequent hand washing with soap (e.g. before handling food or eating, after going to toilet, or when hands are dirtied by respiratory secretions after coughing or sneezing);
- Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms such as a cough or runny nose;
- Cover your mouth with a tissue paper when coughing or sneezing, and dispose the soiled tissue paper in the rubbish bin immediately; and
- Seek medical attention promptly if you are feeling unwell.
