This year’s Singapore Night Festival will illuminate the Bras Basah-Bugis district through beautifully crafted light installations that practically beg to be Instagrammed. Once you’ve finished being entranced, check out the festival’s line-up of arts-related programmes, or catch a death-defying aerial performance by Argentinian troupe Fuerza Bruta.

4. The Bicentennial Experience

Although National Day is over for this year, you can still celebrate our country and its history with The Bicentennial Experience. This exhibition comes in two parts, so you can decide how you want to experience it. For an immersive guided experience, check out the Time Traveller, a 5-act multimedia show that will bring Singapore’s past to life all around you. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to explore at your own pace, you can visit the Pathfinder, a series of outdoor pavilions that encourage you to take your time and discover what they have in store.

Note: Due to overwhelming demand, the exhibition will be extended for the rest of the year instead of wrapping up in September as originally planned. However, it’ll be temporarily closed for maintenance before that, so don’t delay if you’re interested in checking it out!
