Games In March: JRPGs, Co-op Games, And Wrestling

We’re waiting for Nintendo to drop an official release date for the Switch 2, but until then, our new game console savings fund remains untouched. With its upgraded Joy-Cons promising to fix the annoying drifting issues (finally), we’re more than ready for the next-gen portable experience in 2025. Unless Sony comes up with something better.

But enough about that – let’s talk about the games dropping this March that are real and ready to play. Here are the ones we think will make us stop playing "Monster Hunter Wilds" for a bit:

Two Point Museum

Release date: 4 Mar

Ever wondered what it would be like to run the National Museum of Singapore? "Two Point Museum" lets you design exhibits, hire staff, and keep those pesky thieves or hyperactive kids from causing chaos. Your goal? Get rave reviews and become the ultimate museum curator. Just don’t forget to stock up the gift shop and build a staff room to keep your workers happy.

Split Fiction
PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch

Release date: 6 Mar

The studio behind "A Way Out" and "It Takes Two" is back with another co-op adventure. This time, you and a partner play as authors trapped in their own stories – one in a sci-fi world, the other in a fantasy realm. Expect mind-bending mechanics, from wielding lightsabers to commanding dragons, as you work together to escape.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars
PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch

Release date: 6 Mar

Ignore the ridiculously long title. If you have never played the original "Suikoden" games, we suggest you drop everything you’re doing now and get on it. Each game boasts a whopping 108 characters to recruit, with a deep story about rebellion, war, and friendship. Bonus points if you play both, because carrying over your save on "Suikoden I" unlocks extra plot lines in the sequel, plus the levels and equipment on recurring characters.

WWE 2K25
PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch

Release date: 14 Mar

This year’s edition of "WWE 2K" is bringing something fresh – an open-world hub called The Island, where you can take part in challenges and "live" events with other players. With over 300 wrestlers (past and present) to choose from, plus finally the option for intergender matches, we can’t wait to see Rhea Ripley throw Dominik Mysterio across the ring. We’re crossing our fingers for our own homegrown superstar Dante Chen to be released as a DLC.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition
Nintendo Switch

Release date: 20 Mar

One of the Wii U’s best games is finally coming to a console that people actually own. This massive JRPG has you exploring the alien world of Mira, piloting giant mechs (called Skells), and fighting for humanity’s survival. Expect upgraded graphics, a smoother UI, and even new party members to recruit.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist Of Memories & The Envisioned Land
PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch

Release date: 21 Mar

The Atelier series returns, this time following alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt on a journey to uncover a lost city. As always, alchemy plays a big role. You’ll be crafting powerful items to use in combat or while exploring. The game features real-time combat that will test your split-second decision making.

Tales of The Shire
PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Series X|S, Nintendo Switch

Release date: 25 Mar

Imagine "The Lord of the Rings" meets "Animal Crossing", and you get "Tales of the Shire". You play as a Hobbit settling into village life – farming, fishing, decorating your home, and making friends. It’s all about the cosy vibes, so don’t expect epic battles or Sauron lurking in the shadows. Just pure, wholesome Hobbit life.

Killing Floor 3
PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

Release date: March (TBD)

Team up with five other friends and relive your NS days in squad-based combat, except that you’ll be facing hordes of bioengineered monsters called Zeds. Instead of the SAR 21, you can wield shotguns, katanas and even flamethrowers. Use the environment to your advantage – switch on turrets, fans, and other traps to take down Zeds before they rip you apart.
