This weekend offers a feast for your senses, from a night market full of tasty Taiwanese street food to beautiful CNY floral displays and a lively music festival that will have you grooving to the beat.
1. Asian Night Market: Taiwan Food Festival
This much anticipated food festival recreates Taiwan’s Ningxia Night Market with over 30 food vendors from Ningxia hawking delicious snacks. You’ll feast on yummy Taiwan dishes like Egg-Bombed Scallion Pancakes, Flaming Beef Cubes and Tian Bu La (Taiwanese oden). There will also be Mandopop performances by local artistes, game booths to entertain the kids and even a fleet of Taiwanese-style claw machines.

2. Dahlia Dreams
Celebrate CNY in style with Gardens by the Bay’s Dahlia Dreams display, which features over 70 varieties of dahlias, along with other festive blooms like narcissus, azalea and celosia. You can also expect to see beautiful floral sculptures such as two 3-metre-tall Golden Rats and a lively depiction of the great zodiac race from Chinese mythology.

3. Aliwal Urban Art Festival
The spirit of rebellion is alive and well at this art festival, which celebrates the vibrancy of street culture and its many forms. From (legal) graffiti painting to dance battles, alternative music and skateboarding stunts, this festival will challenge your notions of normality and encourage you to ask “what if”.
