1. Carouselland 2019
If you’re familiar with the app Carousell (and, let’s be honest, who isn’t?), check out Carouselland to extend your shopping spree to the real world. This three-day long marketplace features over 300 vendors with products ranging from handmade goods to toys, gadgets and many more. Unlike the virtual marketplace, you can be sure the sellers here are definitely legit (so don’t think of trying to nego or lowball them!
Interested in picking up more than just new products? The event also includes several workshops catering to different interest groups such as crafts and photography. There’s even a gaming corner with board games and retro games where you can test your skills against fellow gamers in between bouts of shopping.

2. Journey of a Toy Collector #GUYSandDOLLS
Take a trip down memory lane with this exhibition at the MINT Museum of Toys, which boasts over 300 vintage dolls from the private collection of a dedicated toy collector. For an added touch of whimsy, check out the life-size toy box that was built for this exhibition and have fun being a mint-in-box toy

4. #AdoptNotShop Doggie Day Out
While dogs can’t fix everything, the presence of a furry companion who loves you unconditionally certainly makes things better more often than not. So if you’re eager for some fluffy love, check out the #AdoptNotShop Doggie Day Out, which celebrates our canine friends while promoting responsible adoption
Held in conjunction with the book launch of “We Adopted! A Collection of Dog Rescue Tales”, this event features a doggie-supermodel contest that your pup can take part in, as well as a flea market with plenty of goods for both canines and humans (but no actual fleas, of course!) Naturally, we can’t forget the crowning jewel: A special runway show starring the rescued and adopted pooches from the aforementioned book!

5. DinoQuest
If you haven’t checked out this journey to the past yet, there’s no time like the present! DinoQuest is an impressively immersive adventure where you’ll learn about the science of palaeontology through (virtual) first-hand experience. Step into gorgeous environments from ages long past and get up close with dinosaurs (minus the threat of being eaten), then learn how fossilisation works by exploring a replica of an actual dig site. You can even try your hand at extracting real fossils – who knows, you might just make the next big discovery
