Jesus Christ Superstar

Why go: If you like musicals that eschew all that chit-chat in between the songs, this one is for you. Whether you grew up listening to the soundtrack in your parents' car or you're totally new to the show, "Jesus Christ Superstar" completely strips away the usual stiff theatre vibes and replaces them with a pure, unadulterated energy you only find at rock or funk gigs. One of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's earliest works, this is the rock opera that spawned the hits "I Don't Know How To Love Him" and "Superstar".

Moonlit City

Why go: Because this is the love story we never knew we needed. Hidup Ini: A Journey in Song with Friends

Why go: Because this is your ultimate "bring your parents (or chill besties)" weekend plan – and you can score brownie points! Rahimah Rahim marks her 70th b'day with this heartwarming musical showcase honouring life’s ups, downs, and everything in between. RWS Cares Festival

Why go: Because you can do some good while having fun. This is a two-day celebration of community, inclusivity and sustainability, and it is anchored by the “Steps of Hope” walkathon that takes you through iconic RWS attractions and the lively Green Living Fair featuring eco-friendly offerings by local brands and social enterprises, hands-on workshops, interactive booths, and performances by artists of all abilities. Temporal Bodies

Why go: If you've never seen contemporary dance IRL, this is your chance. This performance-cum-talk by Sigma Contemporary Dance is part of the "Maria Taniguchi: Afterimage" exhibition, and gives you the art and the "wait, what did that mean?" breakdown after. You get entertained, and you learn something; who doesn't want that? Plus, it's in the afternoon, so you still have time to catch that evening screening of "The Odyssey" if you want.

Passion is Volcanic: Desire in Southeast Asian Art

Why go: Speaking about bodies, if you've ever wondered how art gets spicy, then this is for you. It dives into desire, the body, and eroticism through bold Southeast Asian art you won't see every day. From sculpture to painting to photography, its unfiltered, provocative vibe is actually thought-provoking. NOTE: it's R18, so bring your ID. Also, you cannot take pix in the exhibition area. Hello Future: Adventure Awaits

Why go: Because you get to find out what preschoolers, through their artworks, know about expressing their ideas about identity, community, and the environment. Is that important? Yes, because we believe that children are the future, and if we teach them well, they will show the way. This exhibition is proof that 5-year-olds are currently handling existential crises better than the rest of us. Don't believe us, then go check this out.

Why go: Ready to feel something? Dopamine Land was built to hit your happy hormones on purpose: think cushion-fights, Chromadance floor, and a literal wall for you to get your scribble on. Why go: This is the only barbershop visit where the cutting isn't done on your hair but on your remarks (geddit?).
