Homegrown 2026
Why go: Local music lovers and everyone else, too! Organised by the Music & Drama Company and headlined by bedroom-pop star-turned-global sensation Regina Song and fan favourite pop-groove merchants brb., this is your chance to catch international-level SG talent live without spending a single cent! Other awesome acts to catch include Forests, Ice Cream Sundays, 10pm Noise Complaint, and MDC talents RINES, Dominic Chin, Gail Belmonte and more. There'll also be pop-up booths for some retail therapy. Great music and good vibes – what's not to like?

Join The Invisible City Quest
Why go: Because you only have a few months to hit your "get active" resolution for the year. So here's your chance to walk or cycle or ride across Singapore, solve tasks, and unlock exciting prizes with every move you make. All you need to do is visit selected locations and complete the activities there. The Quay Collective
Why go: The Singapore River Festival is back with "The Quay Collective" – touted to be one massive, glorious riverside party. First up, trade your usual hangover for a healthy buzz at the Acai Social inside Clarke Quay’s oldest heritage building, because dancing to Top 20 hits while eating superfoods is peak adulthood. Next, test your friendship by solving clues on the outdoor Monopoly: Hidden Singapore adventure to unlock secret river stories. Finally, hop on the Whispers of the Twin Quays boat-and-walk tour to soak in the waterfront views.

Why go: If your idea of a good time involves hearing people turn thoughts, stories and words into something genuinely interesting, this is worth checking out. Spoken Word Studios begins with daytime workshops, before a "live" session happens in the evening featuring Bani Haykal, Cyril Wong and Ramesh Krishnan. Come for the creative inspo, stay for the conversations, and maybe leave with a sudden urge to start writing that novel you’ve been “meaning to work on” since 2021.

When Art Meets Nature

It is a clever, hands-on way to spark creativity while teaching young minds about sustainability.

Park Heritage Festival
Why go: Those looking for a fun outdoor plan, head over to Singapore Botanic Gardens and Fort Canning Park for their nine-day Park Heritage Festival. It promises to be packed with activities: you can enjoy guided night tours, a Heritage Rally, craft booths, film screenings, music performances and relief-printing workshops. It is a fantastic, hands-on way for families and nature lovers to explore Singapore's rich history together.

One Last Snowfall at Snow City
Why go: If you want to cool off in the hot weather, this is air-con to the max. They have a Farewell Promotion now that they're closing their doors at the end of the month. Play with snowballs, see ice sculptures, ride a snow tube, and enjoy loads of other winter-esque activities that you won't get to experience here again. Great for the young and young at heart.

It Goes In Circles
Why go: If your current playlist is starting to feel a little too predictable, shake things up with this album showcase by Lion City rockers, fictions. Apart from launching their album, It Goes In Circles, this gig is also a good way to discover something new and temporarily forget those unfinished tasks waiting for you at home. Supporting acts include: intermission, camping! and _Vegtable. This is one for anyone who likes their music live, loud and a little less algorithm-approved.

Mind The Gap Book Launch
Why go: Those who like storytelling will enjoy this session at Malay Heritage Centre, where Ratna Damayanti Taha will launch her novel, "Mind the Gap", which won the 2026 Epigram Books Fiction Prize. Find out all about the novel's exploration of our nation's systemic inequalities and the quiet compromises we make to belong.

Why go: Because why not? Sanrio Characters @ Moonlit Garden
Why go: Those who want a cuteness overload to mark the Mid-Autumn Festival: VivoCity's Sky Park turns into a playground of Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, Kuromi, and Pompompurin. Kids will love the Kuromi carnival games, while parents can grab delicious mooncakes at the TANGS Mid-Autumn Fair there. A delightful, family-friendly way to end the day out under the stars.
