Things To Do In Singapore: 10 to 19 July
From arts & crafts to a Dracula ballet; from comedy crowdwork to classic J-pop, from dining deals to book swaps, those who say there's nothing to do in Singapore obviously didn't read our list. Here's what you can do this coming week...
Asia Art & Craft Fair 2026
Why go: It’s the one stop where you can tap into your creative side. Discover, create, and learn about the art of crafting with more than 500 brands, artists and makers.
Take home fragrances, jewellery, artworks and other one-of-a-kind handmade creations. Or, get creative yourself and design your own glass decals, patch up a tote bag, decorate ceramic pieces, or explore more experiences.
11 to 12 July, various timings @ Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre Halls 410 & 402. Get more details here

Blind Book Swap Night
Why go: As the name implies, this is a book swap but with a difference. You need to wrap your book (a short story collection or novella) and write some clues about it to make someone curious (no titles, no authors). Everyone then gets to pick a book.
This is Epigram Books’ third edition, and this time, their special guest is author Agnes Chew, who will be reading from her short story collection and recommending some fiction, too. Great for those who enjoy reading and want to meet other like-minded souls. Oh, cheese and fizzles are provided as well.
10 July, 7.30pm @ Epigram Showroom, 1008 Toa Payoh North, #03-08, Singapore 318996. Register here
Free to Play
Why go: If you like gaming and comic books, you’ll like this! Difference Engine is throwing its biggest bash yet for its latest offering, Free to Play: A Video Games Anthology. It’s their first multi-medium anthology, featuring 21 tales in comics, prose fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, and multimedia works by creators from around the world, including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Lebanon and the USA.
But this isn’t just a simple launch party. In collab with Wormhole and Filmhouse, you can win prizes in the video game trivia and jam out to beats by retro DJ and gamer nerd DJ Hojyn. Of course, there’s always loot to be picked up along the way, too.
11 July, 3.30pm @ Blue Room, Filmhouse, Golden Mile Tower Level 5. It’s free, but you need to register. Check out full details here
